Most people see a bride in the mirror. I see the whole picture — the saree’s zari, the weight of the jewellery, the way jasmine sits against dark hair, the light of the venue.
That’s why Kamali Artistry covers three crafts under one roof: makeup that photographs beautifully, hair that holds through every ritual, and drapes that stay secure from the first rasam to the last dance.

The artist behind Kamali Artistry
Kamali is the makeup artist, hairstylist and saree drapist behind Kamali Artistry in Chennai. She works as a “face architect”: she looks at the whole picture — the saree’s zari, the weight of the jewellery, the way jasmine sits against dark hair, the light of the venue — and designs makeup, hair and drape to work as one look.
Her brides, mothers, bridesmaids and the men of the family are looked after on site, at home, hall, hotel or temple venue, with a calm, punctual and organised approach. Her signature is simple: turning moods into makeup, and slaying responsibly.
